Creativity Tuesday: Non-Angry Birds

I have a bad habit of buying fat quarters just about any time I enter a fabric store.  So I’ve collected quite a few of these babies without any explicit plans to make something.

I found this pattern for stuffed birds the other day and was totally delighted by them.

Here’s what I did:

I love birds, I realize that they’re super trendy, and maybe even a little passe in the world of home design and craft, but there’s something so sweet about a little bird.  I don’t know if it’s God’s promise to care for us more than the sparrows, or if it’s just their ability to fly, or their delicate hollow bones, there is just something so charming about a little bird.
